The member states of the United Nations (UN) adopted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the General Assembly Resolution, A/RES/70/1 on 25 September 2015. The aim of this resolution is to achieve the seventeen SDGs by 2030 with a view to ending all forms of poverty, fighting inequalities, and tackling climate change issues.
