Strength, workability, and durability are the main parameters while assessing the performance of highperformance concrete (HPC). The major challenge in developing HPC is to achieve a excellent workability. Taking this as an opportunity, IIT Guwahati researchers have taken major initiatives to develop a selfcompacting high-performance concrete (SCHPC).
