P. N. OJHA is Joint Director and Head of Centre for Construction Development and Research at
the National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCCBM), Ballabgarh. He is a nationally and
internationally recognized expert in cement, concrete, and construction materials, with extensive experience
in R&D, performance‑based specifications, durability design, alternate and recycled aggregates, and
utilization of industrial by-products. He represents India in ISO and IRC technical committees and has
authored over 125 research papers and 5 book chapters, contributing significantly to harmonization of Indian
and International Standards. He plays a key leadership role in standardization as Chairman and Member of
several BIS committees and Convener for revision and standard formulation of IS: 383, IS: 2386, IS: 9103, IS:
