BIJILY BALAKRISHNAN is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Indian
Institute of Technology (IIT) Tirupati. She was awarded PhD degree from the Indian Institute of Technology
(IIT) Madras. Her research interests are primarily in the area of the behaviour of reinforced concrete structures.

INDU GEEVAR is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Rajagiri School
of Engineering and Technology, Kochi. She was awarded PhD degree from Indian Institute of Technology
(IIT) Madras. Her research work is in the area of the behavior of reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete

ABINS AZIZ is a Doctoral Research Scholar in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering
at the Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati, India. His research centres on developing eco-friendly,
alkali-resistant sizing for glass fibers in glass fiber-reinforced cement composites, advancing sustainable
construction materials. As a co-inventor, Abins holds one granted Indian patent (IN 403018).

AYSHA ZENEEB MAJEED is currently Professor at Rajagiri School of Engineering and
Technology, Kerala. She obtained her B.Tech. degree (Civil Engineering) from National Institute of
Technology (NIT) Calicut, an M.Tech. degree in Construction Engineering and Management from Cochin
University of Science and Technology (Kochi) and a PhD degree in Structural Engineering from Indian
Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. She is also an “Empanelled Building Energy Efficiency Expert” (BEEE),
empanelled by Energy Management Centre (EMC), Government of Kerala. Her current research areas include
