SANDEEP CHAUDHARY is a Professor (Higher Academic Grade, H.A.G.) in the Department of
Civil Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore. His research primarily focuses on developing
sustainable building products, including innovative materials and eco-friendly construction techniques.
Among his key achievements, Prof. Chaudhary has led IIT Indore’s first technology transfer. Recently, one of
his technologies was adopted by a prestigious government organisation of India. His contributions to the
field are reflected in his over 115 research papers published in SCI/SCI(E) journals and 25 sponsored research
projects in various capacities. He recently co-authored a textbook on “Concrete Technology,” published by
McGraw-Hill Education. Prof. Chaudhary serves on multiple committees for the Bureau of Indian Standards
and the Asian Concrete Federation. He has established several international collaborations, including joint
research projects and academic exchanges. Notably, he was invited by the Government of the Russian
Federation to develop a world-class research laboratory at NPI Russia, underscoring his leadership in global
                              research. Email: schaudhary@iiti.ac.in
